Welch’s Is Coming for Gushers With a New First-Of-Its-Kind Snack

If you grew up with Welch’s, you know there’s more to it than just grape juice. As a kid, I’d slather the strawberry fruit spread all over my English muffin before school, and then for lunch, I’d enjoy those gummy fruit snacks packed with a sandwich. 

The brand’s offerings have grown a lot since I was a kid. While there’s still Concord grape jelly and fruit snacks, Welch’s now has soda, frozen bars, and fruit smoothies. But the company isn’t stopping there. Welch’s just released a never-before-seen snack that offers the juiciness I love from the brand with a serious flavor upgrade.

And it’s about to give Gushers a run for its money.

Welch’s New Juicefuls Fusions Fruit Snack

Welch’s recently debuted a new, first-of-its-kind fruit snack: Juicefuls Fusions. The new line extension from the Welch’s Fruit Snacks collection features the beloved chewy fruit snack exterior with a juicy center for a burst of fruity flavor.

Welch’s Juicefuls already exist in several mixed fruit and berry flavors, but Juicefuls Fusions pairs two different flavors in one fruit gummy piece. It’s similar to the Gushers Flavor Mixers or the Galactic Gushers Mystery Flavor, but here’s where Welch’s takes it to the next level: The two flavors aren’t blended. You experience one flavor as the gummy and the other flavor as the juicy center.

The snacks come in three different combinations: Blueberry and Raspberry, Watermelon and Lemon, and Peach and Green Apple. They also feature Vitamin A, C, and E, which I know my mother would approve.  

In an Instagram annoucement, Welch’s said Juicefuls Fusions are a “new kind of fruit snacks product, delivering a taste adventure with two fruity flavors in every juicy bite.”

Fans commented with how much they “NEEEED THIS” and “definitely want these!” And those who have already tried the snack claim that they “love these” because they “are fire 🔥🔥🔥.”

Walmart shoppers are already stocking up on the new snack. One reviewer said their “kids tore [through] the box” and that they “already need more.”

Another shopper said the new twist provides “an extra kick from the normal kind with the extra fusion of juice. [It] allows your taste buds to bounce around instead of just one flavor like most.”

According to an Instagram comment from Welch’s, Juicefuls Fusions are already available at Walmart, Amazon, and select convenience stores. We found the juicy new snack at Walmart, where you can get a Value Pack box with 20 pouches for around $7. However, prices can vary depending on location.

Welch’s also confirmed in the Instagram comment that these will roll out nationwide soon, so we hope to see Juiceful Fusions in the grocery store snack aisle this summer.
