Krispy Kreme Has 2 Brand-New Doughnuts for a Limited Time

Diligent doughnut lovers know all about Krispy Kreme’s holiday doughnut releases and special deals. 

This year alone, the brand released the Taste O’Luck collection for St. Patrick’s Day, then celebrated Easter a month later with the new Hoppy Easter Collection. There were “Minis for Mom” in honor of Mother’s Day, and special discounts offered on Memorial Day. Krispy Kreme even celebrated Pac-Man’s birthday, complete with a Pac-Man and ghost-themed doughnut. 

It simply wouldn’t be a holiday without speciality Krispy Kreme doughnuts, so it comes as no surprise that the chain is dropping a new collection this week, just in time for Father’s Day. While you may think of grilling hot dogs and burgers, this special day also calls for doughnuts.

Krispy Kreme Has 2 New Doughnuts for Father’s Day 

This year, Father’s Day falls on Sunday, June 15. On both June 14 and 15, Krispy Kreme will be selling two limited-edition doughnuts celebrating fathers—and they’re the perfect way to surprise dad with breakfast in the morning.

The first is the Bow Tie & Suspenders Doughnut, an Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and drizzled with a green and blue vanilla-flavored icing. Two blue stripes make the “suspenders” and a green icing “bow tie” pulls the whole outfit together. 

The plaid doughnut celebrates dad’s favorite shirt—the plaid flannel. It’s an Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in a blue vanilla flavored icing and drizzled with white and green vanilla-flavored icing in a crosshatch pattern, mimicking a plaid pattern. 

These doughnuts are available in the Father’s Day Dozen, so you can fill the other ten slots with dad’s Krispy Kreme favorites—and maybe even grab a few of your own, too. 

Krispy Kreme Is Selling 13-Cent Dozens 

If this mid-June drop isn’t enough for your sweet tooth, Krispy Kreme is celebrating another important holiday this month: the Original Glazed Doughnut’s 88th birthday! 

Through June 20, Krispy Kreme Rewards members can purchase a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts for just $9.99. And, on Friday the 13, all Krispy Kreme fans can swing by for a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for only 13 cents with the purchase of any dozen at the regular price. 

The last celebration kicks off the official start of summer. On June 20, Krispy Kreme will offer a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for $2 with the purchase of another dozen at regular price. Make sure to stop by swing by that day because Krispy Kreme will also be surprising thousands of fans with 12 months of free Original Glazed donuts—one dozen per month from this July to June 2026. 

Whether it’s for a surprise gift for dad, or a chance at free doughnuts for a year, now is a good time to make a stop at your local Krispy Kreme.
