Baskin-Robbins Just Launched a First-Of-Its-Kind Treat Featuring M&M’s

Baskin-Robbins is no stranger to delicious and creative menu items. From iconic celebrity collaborations to elusive secret menu hacks, the ice cream chain has been serving up tasty treats for years. And with a monthly rotation of new items, ice cream enthusiasts are always looking forward to the next scoop. 

Last month, Baskin-Robbins fans saw the return of the iconic Beach Day flavor, featuring salted vanilla ice cream with chocolate caramel-filled turtles, frosting, and crushed graham crackers. And in June, we were treated to a surprise collaboration with Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers, with a new flavor inspired by the iconic sweet and sour gummy candies.

August is finally here, meaning the menu gets a refresh and fans won’t be disappointed by the new additions.

Baskin-Robbins Debuts New M&M’s Flavor and Ice Cream Cakes

Nothing is worse than slicing into an ice cream cake, only to find out that it’s become a melty milkshake. The new Cake in a Box from Baskin-Robbins is the perfect solution. The Cake in a Box is the ice cream chain’s reimagined take on the beloved dessert, focusing on portability and ease. 

Each box features the standard deliciousness you’d expect from an ice cream cake: decadent cake layers, luscious ice cream, and a creamy whipped topping. What makes this product so special is the resealable box that keeps your cake protected while traveling, storing, and enjoying.

Baskin-Robbins’ Cake in a Box is available in two flavors, and they sound just as good as we’d expect. Its M&M’s with Cookie Dough cake features layers of confetti cake and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. The cake is loaded with M&M’s and chunks of cookie dough, and finished with whipped frosting and a rich fudge drizzle.

Meanwhile, the Cookie Crave cake is described as a “chocolate lover’s dream.” You’ll find layers of chocolate cake and Oreo Cookies ‘n Cream ice cream, packed with cookie dough and crushed Oreos, and topped with whipped frosting and fudge.

Each cake will cost about $29.99 and can be pre-ordered on the Baskin-Robbins app for pickup or delivery.

If you’re more interested in scoops of ice cream than slices, you’ll want to keep an eye out for the new Flavor of the Month. Keeping in line with the M&M’s theme, the M&M’s Monster Cookie flavor combines brown sugar ice cream with chunks of cookie dough, peanut butter cookie swirls, and, of course, mini M&M’s. You can also get the cookie-inspired flavor, which fans are already calling “perfection,” as a creamy shake through the rest of the month.

Like most monthly flavors and new menu items, Baskin-Robbins’ Cake in a Box and M&M’s Monster Cookie flavor will only be around for a limited time, so make sure to drop by your nearest shop to give them a try.
