A New Nestlé Toll House Cookie Dough Is Coming to Stores

There are still weeks left for summer, but inside the grocery store, fall is in full swing. Many of our favorite seasonal treats, such as Twix Ghosts and spooky Twizzlers have already returned to shelves. Plus, we’ve seen countless new releases, including a first-of-its-kind Kit Kat, pumpkin-shaped Snickers, and festive Halloween Oreos, just to name a few.

Now, one of our favorite brands has launched a new version of its popular Halloween-themed cookie dough and we can’t wait to try it.

Nestlé Toll House Releases New Trick-or-Treats Cookie Dough

Nestlé Toll House

Nestlé Toll House Trick-or-Treats Cookie Dough is rolling out to stores, but with a new flavor combination this year. The new Trick-or-Treats Cookie Dough features a chocolate cookie dough base and for the first time has butterscotch morsels. In addition, the cookie dough includes a variety of sprinkles, including white ghosts, purple bats, and green jimmies. The inclusions do not contain artificial colors but instead use vegetable juice, turmeric, and spirulina to achieve their bright hue.

Each 14-ounce package includes 20 cookies, making this perfect for movie night and spooky celebrations all season long. Instagrammer @markie_devo shared a photo featuring the new treat alongside Keebler’s new orange and black-striped cookie, and fans didn’t hold back their excitement. “It’s my season,” someone said.

Another shared a creative idea of how to use the chocolaty cookies. “I bet those Toll House cookies would be a good layer cookie,” they wrote, referring to double-stacked cookies.

We couldn’t agree more. All you have to do is flatten a Trick-or-Treats Cookie into a disc shape and top it with one of Pillsbury’s Halloween cookies before baking. Essentially, the bottom cookie becomes a colorful border around the top cookie’s design, making it a party-perfect treat. Just be sure not to taste the dough before baking. Unlike Pillsbury’s ready-to-bake cookies, Nestlé’s are not safe to eat raw.

Nestlé Toll House Trick-or-Treats Cookie Dough is available now at select retailers, but only for a limited time. It is expected to roll out to even more stores nationwide including Walmart, Target, HEB, Meijer, Albertsons, Giant Foods, Giant Eagle, and select regional grocery stores in coming weeks.
