NEED TO KNOW

  • Selena Gomez ditched her pants in her latest Instagram post
  • Gomez wore an oversize shirt that read “You’re my cherry pie”
  • The shirt doubled as both a merch item from her official webstore and a reference to her relationship with fiancé Benny Blanco

Selena Gomez‘s love for Benny Blanco knows no bounds — so much so, that their relationship has even made it to the clothing she wears.

The Rare Beauty founder posted a carousel of images to her Instagram on Tuesday, June 10, which gave fans a look at how her life has been going in recent weeks.

In one of the images, Gomez took a mirror photo of herself going pantsless in a white oversize ringer tee with red text that read “You’re my cherry pie” in swooping, ’70s-inspired lettering.

The text on the shirt was a sweet reference to her fiancé, Benny Blanco. “You’re my cherry pie” is a lyric from their song, “Sunset Blvd,” which is on their joint album, I Said I Love You First.

“You’re my cherry pie/ I don’t care who knows it/ Love me ’til I die/ Bury me with roses,” the former Disney Channel star sings on the upbeat track.

The shirt is also a merchandise item on Gomez’s official website. The You’re My Cherry Pie Ringer T-shirt retails for $35 in the store and is currently available in sizes XS to XL.

The merch item made a second appearance in Gomez’s recent carousel post on slide seven, which saw her posing for a selfie in the mirror. The mirror contained cute, black and white photo booth-style images of the couple, where they hit a series of silly poses.

Blanco popped into the comments section of Gomez’s post and left a sweet note for his bride-to-be. “ur my cherry pie,” he wrote, adding a red heart emoji to the beginning and end of his message.

Gomez’s loving nod to Blanco comes amid his recent exclusive interview with InStyle. In the feature, Blanco shared his desire to one day have children with Gomez. The music producer told the outlet that he loves kids and hopes for the opportunity to become a father one day,

“I love kids; I love being an uncle,” he told the outlet. “I want to be a dad, though, God willing. I’m just dreaming and praying every day.”

Gomez, however, revealed in a September interview with Vanity Fair that she’s incapable of having a healthy pregnancy. “I unfortunately can’t carry my own children,” Gomez said. “I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while…”

Gomez and Blanco, whose real name is Benjamin Joseph Levin, were first linked in December 2023. The actress confirmed their relationship by liking posts of her and Blanco, even telling a fan that “He is my absolute everything in my heart.” The couple announced their engagement on Instagram in December 2024.
