Pop-Tarts Just Quietly Launched a New Product That’s Perfect for Summer

Summer is upon us, which means beach vacations, pool days, and boat rides down the lake are on the horizon. Those hot, sunny days spent on the water deserve a cooler packed with sodas, your favorite cocktails, tasty sandwiches, and, of course, lots of snacks.

Kellanova, the brand behind Pop-Tarts, Cheez-It, Eggo, Pringles, and much more, certainly has us covered on the snacking front this summer. From the new Cheez-It x Wendy’s Baconator crackers to Pringles’ Grilled Beer Brat- and Beer Can Chicken-flavored chips made in partnership with Miller Lite and classic Rice Krispies Treats, we’re stacked for treats.

Arguably one of Kellanova’s most exciting new summer launches, however, comes from Pop-Tarts with its new Pop-Tarts Ice Cream Sandwiches. Now you can cool off with Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Frosted Strawberry, and Frosted S’Mores Pop-Tarts sandwiched together with ice cream. And now, Pop-Tarts is taking its summer vibes one step further by launching a new frosted toaster pastry pool float.

Pop-Tarts Releases New Pool Float

To celebrate its new summertime launch of ice cream sandwiches and pints, Pop-Tarts is releasing a Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tart-themed pool float. The 5 1/2-foot vinyl lounge float has a built-in pillow featuring the Pop-Tarts logo, so you can relax in true toaster pastry style. 

The Pop-Tarts Pool Float is available at major retailers, including Walmart, Target, and Amazon, this summer while supplies last.

If you’re not into Pop-Tarts—or you just want a collection of Kellanova pool floats—even more of our favorite snack foods are splashing into the pool this summer.

Cheez-It is releasing a giant cheese cracker-shaped floatie with a built-in pillow at retailers. It’s also introducing an exclusive, direct-to-consumer Cheez-It tube-like floatie on its website, all to pair with its new Cheez-It frozen pizzas and returning Flag Summer crackers.

Eggo will let you get toasty under the sun on its new 5-foot waffle float, complete with a pat of butter and syrup. It’s the perfect place to lounge while enjoying Eggo’s new waffle ice cream sandwiches and ice cream pints.

Last, but not least, Rice Krispies Treats is treating fans to its ice cream pints, ice cream sandwiches, and Patriotic Mini Treats this summer, all to be enjoyed while relaxing on the new Rice Krispies Treats pool float. The float features the iconic blue wrapper unveiling the cereal and marshmallow treat.
