When I wake up on a Sunday morning in the fall, I can practically hear the CBS and Fox NFL theme songs playing in my head. Sundays in the final quarter of the year mean hours upon hours of football-watching, which also equate to hours of devouring delicious foods.
Some weeks, that might mean bowls of dips, others it might mean a pot of soup simmering away on the stove. But, one thing’s for certain, almost any game day spread can be made that much easier with Hormel Chili.
Whether you’re eating the canned chili as-is, heated up straight from the can; as a way to top nachos, hot dogs, or fries; or as the base to your favorite cheesy dips, Hormel Chili is a pantry staple for easy game-day eats.
Now, as game days are heating up and the weather is cooling down, Hormel is debuting three new chili recipes that offer a flavorful twist on the classic. And, because the canned chili is ready-to-eat in just minutes, these three new offerings won’t have you waiting all day for Sunday night before you can dig in.
Hormel Chili Debuts 2 New Flavors
Hormel
Hormel is releasing two new flavors of chili: a Cilantro Lime and Chicken Chipotle with beans. Its new Cilantro Lime Chili will be available with or without beans.
The Cilantro Lime Chili features bright, fresh herbs and zesty lime flavors in a chili made with tender beef, spices, and beans (if you so choose). Both varieties boast 12 grams of protein per serving.
Hormel’s new Chicken Chipotle Chili expands on the brand’s chicken chili offerings, which previously only included its White Chicken Chili with beans. The Chicken Chipotle Chili is made with tender chicken and beans that are simmered in a smoky chipotle sauce and seasoned with chili powder.
Like all Hormel Chili, the three new chilis can be enjoyed straight from the can, or as a base to your favorite chili-filled recipes. Hormel has offered a few recipes for inspiration, including a chili enchilada casserole using the Cilantro Lime with beans, chili tacos using the Cilantro Lime without beans, and a cheesy, chicken chili dip using the Chicken Chipotle.
The three new Hormel Chilis are hitting retailer shelves nationwide now. With these three new products in your pantry this fall, the chili possibilities are practically endless.
